Advocates for International Development draws together the skills and expertise of the legal profession to combat poverty and inequality of opportunity worldwide. 

A4ID provides a service to civil society and developing country governments working to further the United Nation's Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). It facilitates the provision of free legal advice and assistance through a global network of 27,000 lawyers.  A4ID also aims to raise awareness of how the law and lawyers can support the MDGs through events and educational opportunities.
